The Not so Lazy Days of Summer

It's amazing how busy summer can be! It's going by way to fast and I don't feel I've accomplished even a fraction of what I wanted to.

But we are having a lot of fun hanging out in the backyard with bubbles, our little playground, trampoline and more.
Plus there is the pool, trips to the zoo, playgrounds, and play dates with friends.

Before we know it, Evan will be starting up second grade :-O

Erin has picked up a few new words. This is the face she makes when she says "no" Up until now she has been just shaking her head yes and no. Now she says no and dah (for yes)
Her other favorite new word - Pool. She really likes going to the pool now and has already asked for it several times this morning. "Pool? Pool? Pool?" Pointing at the front door. When we were getting dressed this morning she reached for her suit.

And she loves ladybugs. Loves them! Mike took this photo of a ladybug in one of our flower boxes. He actually snapped a few photos. I want to make a little scrapbook for Erin with the photos using a find the Ladybug theme. Reminds me of a book we found at the library :0)

OK off to run some errands and hopefully go to the pool if the skies clear up!

I love how they get new words. Fynn is saying "no, no, no" and "dump truck". His favourite words :)
